I am also the creator, showrunner, writer, a director, and an actor in the dramedy mystery web series Inattentional (available as of March 2025). My thesis short film about mixed-race identity, Et Al., will be available in the coming months. I am the founder of In Harmony Montclair. I was the host, producer, and editor of the podcast Second Semester Seniors. I recently graduated from Boston University where I majored in Film & Television and was in Kilachand Honors College. Growing up, I learned to say “oh goodness” unironically because of the Midwestern side of my family and I developed an ear for French through my Haitian side. As I listened to my family, I realized that these two cultures are more similar than they may seem: both have taught me to value community, and faith, and also that family extends beyond blood relatives. I am drawn to creating projects that use dialogue on screen to encourage dialogue in the community to promote finding common ground with those who may seem different than you. So I keep writing. Since then, I have directed and/or produced seven annual benefit concerts and smaller events for local charities that have raised a total of over $18,000 for local charities. Over 40 students have participated as cast and crew. I have conceptualized and performed original music for solo and group performances. IHM’s events have been featured numerous times by the Montclair Local and Baristanet, including this Montclair Local piece from 2018 and this Baristanet piece from 2020.
